Een klant had een gebruiker die zijn postbus niet kon openen ivm de melding "Formula Error".

Problem
When viewing your Lotus Notes inbox, you see "Unable to load frame's content: Formula Error", or when running fixup you see "Error fixing view XXX in mailfile.nsf : Formula Error". 
 
 
Resolving the problem
This problem is related to the use of message attention indicators. To work around the problem, disable attention indicators in 8.5, or reset the colors to the default in Notes R7/R8. This can be found in the calendar profile on the Attention Indicators tab in 8.5, or Colors tab in Notes R7/R8.

If you cannot open the database at all due to the error: "Formula Error", open the database in the Domino Designer and change the default view that is opened from the Inbox to another view.

Attention indicators can also be set through a mail policy. When experiencing this problem, if they are being set through a mail policy, the mail policy must be updated to not set attention indicators as well, otherwise the problem will return once the policy reapplies itself.

This problem has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# JCIK7PFGCT, and has been fixed in 8.5.1 and 8.5 FP1.

8.5 FP1 is echter nog niet verkijgbaar, verwachte datum is juli 2009.
