From adapting existing software to developing new applications

Not every project starts with a blank sheet of paper. Sometimes it involves an existing application that needs to be modified, an integration that no longer works, or software for which the original developer is no longer available.

I can help with, among other things:

Connecting HCL Notes to other systems

An HCL Notes or Domino environment often does not operate on its own.

Additional software is frequently needed to exchange data with, for example, an ERP system, database, web service or another application. Sometimes this can be done directly from Domino, while in other situations an intermediate layer or separate application is required.

In these situations, knowledge of C# or VB.NET, for example, can be a valuable addition to my knowledge of HCL Notes and Domino.

Recently, for example, I developed a substantial integration with an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) in C# for a customer.

This project required knowledge at the level of a Dutch university of applied sciences (HBO). I therefore further developed my C# knowledge through additional training and certification, including the Microsoft Exam 483: Programming in C#.
